Respiratory Masks

Respirators are designed to help reduce the wearer's respiratory exposure to airborne contaminants such as particles, gases, or vapours. They should be individually selected to fit the wearer's face while providing a tight seal and based on the usage. A proper seal between the user's face and the respirator forces inhaled air to be pulled through the respirator's filter material, thereby providing protection.

Due to the global pandemic, individuals are strongly suggested to wear a face mask or a respiratory mask while in public, to prevent spreading airborne particles to other individuals, or to be protected by any existing viral particles.

WHS Concern

Employers should have a written respirator program that describes the procedures for selecting and using respiratory protective equipment. The correct use of respirator is as important as selecting the correct respirator for the hazards present.

If a company decided their workers should wear face masks to prevent spreading any viral contaminants, the company should provide facemasks to their employees. Ensure disposable masks are properly discarded according to government protocols.

Anti-Fog Attribute

The most effective ways to prevent foggy glasses while wearing a face mask is to ensure your mask is tightly sealed around your nose and mouth.

We provide a range of respiratory masks with a wire that contours to the bridge of your nose to prevent fogging and spreading respiratory droplets between people interacting in close proximity.
