The walk-through thermal scanner provides detection of above normal body temperatures without direct contact. As subjects walk through the screening area, their temperature is captured by the camera. The camera can also identify and ignore nonhuman heat sources such as hot beverages, thus preventing false alarms. Facial recognition is also available to gain accurate information about the individuals entering the premises. The detector has two temperature scanners at 1.2m and 1.5m.
